When bored...

I create...well most of the time.

It's freeing to be able to make something without a looming deadline. The inspiration comes back tenfold, as if odd, invisible and unexplanable boundaries existed.

April BYOC | Valorie Wibbens

How can April already be here?!!! It's a little crazy how fast the time is going but I am SO happy the weather over here, is getting warmer.

A new month brings, of course, new BYOC goodies from the ladies at The Lilypad and Valorie Wibbens has released yet another wonderful and colourful pack of Sprinkles and some pretty amazing digital papers too! Here's is the project I created with Valorie's items + some additional oldies from here store.

(fuelled by caffeine and dreams, sprinkles v.42, a bit worn topography no.1 & cut it out: hello by valorie wibbens)

Although I am not part of her creative team, I also created a paged with Peppermint's April BYOC goodies...something I might in time, re-create in hybrid format also. I was thrilled to see the digital version of those cute rubber elements (seen in many paper monthly kits) included in her contribution this month.

February Blog Hop | Gossamer Blue

Hey guys!

It's that time of the month again and the ladies and I are happy to be part of this month's Gossamer Blue  Inspiration Blog Hop.

This month, I decided to stick to the 8x8 size I've quickly have become addicted to; it's THE perfect surface size! The photo I picked for this project is a snapshot of one of the many moments I've woken up to the sound of my daughter and her Nintendo DS. She'll tap me on the forehead (a little abruptly), shove the console inches from my face and ask questions and give instructions at lightning speed; most of which my sleepy mind can't quite yet compute with.

I typed up a few phrases in Photoshop (font: KB Like Pink Stars) and printed it on about a third of my background and used a basic yellow Highlighter to highlight a few of the words. The remainder of my background was covered with a patterned paper. Only a few elements were selected to complete my project.

January Blog Hop | Gossamer Blue

It's time for the January Team Blog Hop for Gossamer Blue and the ladies and I are back this month with some wonderful inspiration.

I decided to change this around a little bit and the last project I created for January is an 8x8 instead of my usual format. Most of my old digital layouts contain a bold background and not the white space everyone is so accustomed in seeing. This project was really a throwback for me and I really enjoyed the 8x8 format as well.

December Reveal | Gossamer Blue

I just cannot believe that December is already here but I am SO happy to be back and creating with the Gossamer Blue girls.

Thanks to my hiatus I had a thousands of ideas running through my mind and I was so happy to receive my goodies and to see the abundance of colour. The amount of white space is pretty consistent throughout my first three projects however the fourth is a little colour crazy and I cannot wait to share it with you all on the Gossamer Blue blog latter on this month.
